Job Summary

As a People Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving People success across your assigned business units or groups. By leveraging the expertise and resources of the wider People team, you will proactively identify opportunities to foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance employee experience. Success in this role will be reflected through key indicators such as increased engagement and retention, effective performance improvement, a strong culture of recognition and feedback, and the development of leadership and management capability across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves as a partner and advisor to business groups, offering guidance and support in areas such as performance management, leadership coaching, manager development, organizational design, and employee relations. Partners with VPs, senior leaders, and managers, depending on the organizational structure.
• Partners with the People team to analyze data trends and metrics, using insights to shape proactive policies, programs, and solutions. Highlights key patterns or concerns to the Director, Global People Business Partnerships.
• Stays informed on legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, mitigating legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Escalates cases to Senior People Business Partners, the Director, Global People Business Partnerships, and / or external legal counsel when necessary.
• Support with LOA administration and other regulatory needs for the United States employment group as necessary.
• Works closely with leaders and teams to enhance workplace culture, strengthen employee engagement, and drive retention and productivity.
• Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Escalates to more Senior People Business Partners, Director, Global People Business Partnerships and / or external Legal when needed.
• Combines strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset—balancing long-term People initiatives with immediate operational demands.
• Acts as a trusted advisor during periods of organizational change, supporting leaders in driving transformation, managing through ambiguity, and maintaining employee engagement throughout change initiatives.
• Collaborates with global colleagues to promote an inclusive, effective, and high-performing workplace across all regions.
