Shift : Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Duration : 13 Weeks

Experience Required : 2-3 years in an acute hospital setting

Pay Rate : $40 per hour (Approx. $1500 weekly)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Physical Therapist for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess strength, mobility, balance, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient-centered goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, functional training, gait training, manual therapy, and appropriate modalities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, safety, and continued rehabilitation plans.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries in the EMR system.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and APTA standards of practice.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as necessary.
• Demonstrate strong clinical competence and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.
