Sales Engineer
Reporting to the Unit Sales Manager, Balticare Inc., the Sales Engineer is responsible for all activities related to achieving sales targets and implementing the marketing strategy with his or her assigned consulting engineering firms, owners and contractors for equipment sales. The Sales Engineer influences consulting engineering firms, owners and contractors, and assists them in applying products represented by Balticare to best meet the end-user customers' needs, resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services in the New York City marketplace.
Fully competent and experienced in the areas of capital sales, marketing, and lead generation with consulting engineering firms, contractors, and owners in the HVAC marketplace.
The Sales Engineer will report to the Unit Sales Manager, Balticare, Inc, and will provide leadership and oversight of all sales and marketing initiatives for assigned accounts.
Generates sales of equipment and controls for products represented by Balticare to assigned building owners and contractors to meet fiscal year sales and margin goals
Generates basis-of-design and preference for product lines represented by Balticare to assigned consulting engineering firms, building owners and contractors
Maintains existing relationships and develops new relationships with consulting engineering firms, building owners and contractors
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Designs and executes marketing and educational training modules to consulting engineering firms and contractors.
Oversees the preparation of proposals of projects from consulting engineering firms, owners and contractors.
Oversees the execution of Purchase Orders by ensuring the timely release of orders to vendors, approval of equipment submittals, communication of equipment shipment details and completion of start-up and owner training
Manages large strategically significant projects in assigned region.
Tracks and reports local market conditions and competitive activities.
Identifies and fulfills tactical marketing requirements.
Promote BAC through customer and industry organization presentations such as actively participating in local ASHRAE chapters
Identifies and communicates product needs based on feedback from Customers.
Assists in administration of warranty and commercial terms requirements.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Mentors and develops other sales staff as required
Supports factory visits requests by engineering consulting firms, building owners and contractors

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $74,000-126,000
