Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager / Sheet Metal Fabricator to oversee daily shop operations while fabricating high-quality aluminum and copper roofing components. This role combines hands-on fabrication work, inventory management, and occasional delivery responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced with sheet metal fabrication tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate metal fabrication equipment including auto metal breaks, shears, and bending tools to produce panels, gutters, and edge metal from aluminum and copper.
  • Fabricate custom roofing elements to meet project specifications and drawings.
  • Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, track usage, and order supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and stage materials for delivery to job sites; perform deliveries as required.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field crews to meet project timelines and specifications.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication , specifically aluminum and copper.
  • Proficiency operating auto metal breaks, shears, and bending machines .
  • Strong understanding of roofing components, measurements, and layout.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing warehouse / shop operations is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to make deliveries.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform manual labor.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a shop environment.
