Billing Specialist

Job Title: Billing Specialist

Location (city, state): Hybrid in Gig Harbor, WA

Compensation: $25 - $35 / hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications:

• 2+ Years of Billing Experience- preferably dealing with contract billing
• Large ERP system experience

Job Description:

• Oversee customer account set up
• Manage Prevailing Wage intents
• Review QuickBase and true up forecasts and soft close/hard close candidates
• Request COI’s
• Generate and deliver customer invoices and account statements
• Work with project managers to ensure all costs are captured and billed appropriately and timely
• Ensure accurate recording and collection of sales tax, where applicable, across multiple jurisdictions
• Respond and resolve customer billing issues
• Follow up on and collect outstanding customer balances
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and assist in preparing detailed accounts receivable status
• Helps maintain customer accounts, files and records, including various customer portals
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers
• Route internal and external calls with providing a white glove communication experience
• Other duties as assigned
