Floor Plan Auditor

As a Floor Plan Auditor in Dealer Commercial Services, you perform precise inventory audits to verify compliance and support dealer trust. You help maintain accurate records and ensure policy adherence, working closely with clients and internal partners.
Job Responsibilities
Audit dealership inventory by physically inspecting vehicles for serial number, wear, damage, location, and sale date.
Determine purchaser, delivery and funding date, and finance type for sold inventory.
Identify location and user of any unseen inventory.
Verify dealer possesses MSO / Title for unseen inventory.
Submit audit results, including concerns, for review by Audit Manager, credit, and sales partners.
Prepare and review inventory audit summary reports with dealer contacts.
Maintain working knowledge of current floor plan credit policy and exceptions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory auditing, financial services, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to physically inspect vehicles and verify documentation.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing audit reports.
Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures.
Ability to identify and escalate concerns or discrepancies.
Familiarity with financial documentation and compliance standards.
Adhere to published dress code for this position.
Valid driver license and auto insurance required.
Nationwide overnight travel required.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience in dealer commercial services or automotive finance.
Advanced knowledge of floor plan credit policies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines.
