JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Title ClerkLocation: Reports To: Executive OfficesDepartment: FLSA Status: Non-exemptJob Code: Supervises Others: NoSUMMARY The Title Clerk will be responsible for managing titles, registrations and renewals for all vehicles in the fleet and ensuring that all vehicle information is correctly updated in the CARS+ system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Input all new vehicle units into the CARS+ system.
- Manage transfers of all vehicles from one location to another.
- Process check in sheets for new vehicles.
- Process title and registration for all new units and sent plates to appropriate vendor.
- File titles and update title information with accuracy.
- Process title transfers for sales vehicles and ensure appropriate title fees are paid.
- Ensure any title renewals for vehicles are process and tracked with accuracy.
- Process shipping of titles, registrations and plates to appropriate locations.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Education and/or Experience High School or equivalent diploma required; Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university is desired; prior related work experience desired. Ability to type with speed and accuracy is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word) is desired.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear and use hands to handle, feel, or type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
