Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Women s health and OB / GYN patients Patient Volume / Census : patients / day; deliveries / month Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General OB / GYN care including deliveries and women s health consults EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup Available : Women s Health NP and Nurse Midwife, RN Support Staff Available : Women s Health NP, Nurse Midwife, RN Reason for Coverage : Staffing need for OB / GYN services Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Deliveries OB / GYN consults and surgical procedures Licenses : Eligibility to obtain New Mexico medical license Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP; Board Certified (or active in certification process) in OB / GYN Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred Other Qualifications : Must be OB / GYN residency trained Provide OB / GYN care in both inpatient and clinic settings Perform deliveries and consults Take 24-hour call on assigned days Use Epic for EMR and documentation Collaborate with midwives, NPs, and RN staff to deliver quality care
