Supply Chain Manager

Schedule : 5x2 4x3 9hr Shifts
Job Responsibilities and Duties :
At Sibanye-Stillwater the Manager Supply Chain will lead the supply chain team and direct the overall supply chain operations including sourcing procurement contract management managing inventory warehousing and accounts payable function.
- Provide positive leadership and inspire team members towards high performance.
- Manage performance and development of reporting staff ensuring that each team members understand expectations and current level of performance.
- Provide the leadership management and vision required to ensure that the supply chain discipline has the proper operational controls administrative procedures people and systems in place to effectively meet the strategic objectives of the organization and to ensure financial strength.
- Provide strategic direction for the supply chain discipline to meet short to medium term business requirements.
- Manage the entire supply chain (mines inbound internal and outbound logistics) and supply chain contracts as per strategic plans.
- Provide leadership in the processes and management of a diverse team relating to personnel development training talent management motivation company image employee engagement performance contracting objective setting and measurement thereof.
- Prepare approve and implement the annual budget for the company regarding the Supply Chain function.
- Ensure inventories of all commodities mining equipment and consumables as per budget norms for uninterrupted production.
- Develops acquisition strategies and contract practices and manages contract creation negotiation execution and compliance
- Manage the development design implementation and maintenance of procurement processes by ensuring SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance monitoring and the introduction of performance-based contracts with preferred suppliers.
- Develop an audit plan and implement audit findings resulting in no unresolved audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements controls legislated regulations internal policies work standards and governance requirements.
- Lead the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with stakeholders across the organization and externally at all levels and cross-functionally to meet business objectives.
- Strong understanding of HSE and Environmental requirements and resources within area of responsibility.
- Willingness to act when substandard behaviour or conditions are identified.
Qualifications and Skills :

Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously in an interruptive environment while working under pressure to meet deadlines.Highly capable of data analysis and presentationAble to recognize and manage significant issues that have potential to cause harm to the business or individualsAbility to recognize the perspectives of all participants and lead accordingly.Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills .Able to communicate succinctly and powerfully with site and segment Senior Management; strong oral and written communication skillsThorough understanding of compliance parameters for SOX and other audit requirements.System and technical knowledge (Microsoft Office Share Point ERP systems) a must.Education & Experience
Degree in business operations supply chain management and or finance.MBA would be advantageous.At least 7 years experience in a related role of which 5 years should have been at a senior management level or experience in a functional / specialist area.Experience in a Mining environment would be advantageous.Strong knowledge of asset management would be advantageousSibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
