Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Implement established patient treatment plans under supervision
  • Communicate with patients and team members
  • Develop clinical skills and support department operations
  • Report patient status changes to the supervising therapist

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree program accreditation
  • Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
  • 1 year of experience is required
  • NBCOT Certificate
  • Ability to work effectively in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
  • Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
