Over 50 million people use Speechify's text-to-speech products to turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio, so they can read faster, read more, and remember more. Our text-to-speech reading products include an iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome Extension, and Web app. Google named Speechify the Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple named it the App of the Day.

What You'll Do

  • Actively ship production code to our web products.
  • Work closely with a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap.
  • Build new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

  • Experience building and shipping products that scale to thousands or millions of users.
  • Customer obsession and a passion for high-quality products that serve customer needs.
  • Speed—quickly generating ideas and deciding what can ship now and what needs time.
  • Focus—knowing when to engage or stay head-down in a high-growth, busy remote team.
  • Collaboration—spiring, playing, and negotiating with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs.
  • Proficiency with Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, and TypeScript.

    • The United States based salary range for this role is : $140,000–$200,000 USD per year + bonus + stock options, depending on experience.
