Maintenance Assistant

Location : Apopka

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8AM until 5 PM.

Pay : $18

Responsibilities

Maintenance irrigation / plumbing systems

Assists in maintaining greenhouse mechanical and electrical systems

Assists in monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining greenhouses control systems

Perform general labor tasks to obtain and keep the facility up and running

Occasionally operates equipment (E / g., tractors, forklifts)

Requirements

Electrical knowledge

Plumbing or irrigation systems

Some experience working in a greenhouse is a plus

Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus

Collaborative work style is a must

Must have good attendance and be reliable.

Must also have the ability to work weekends and overtime from time to time as required for emergencies.

Must meet minimum age requirement for regular employment at Deroose Plants Inc.

Ability to work in warm and humid environment.
