Entry Level Accountant

Description We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Plano, Texas. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to start their accounting career and gain hands-on experience in financial operations. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, support accounting processes, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial activities.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and record journal entries with precision and proper documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks effectively.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records according to company standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
• Review financial transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with team members to improve workflows and achieve deadlines.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Oracle is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous internship or exposure to accounting processes is preferred but not required.
