About the Role
Client's Asset Management team is seeking a Senior Analyst to manage and maintain fixed asset accounting in accordance with GAAP, Toyota's capitalization policies, and SAP ERP standards. The role focuses on asset lifecycle management, financial accuracy, audits, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, procurement, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the fixed asset register in SAP.
Record and monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals.
Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to capitalization policy.
Execute quarterly / annual asset confirmations.
Perform depreciation runs, valuations, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Prepare financial reports, variance / flux analysis, and close deliverables.
Support budgeting and forecasting for capital assets.
Manage leased asset accounting and documentation.
Coordinate with IT for asset tagging and tracking.
Respond to internal / external audit requests and resolve discrepancies.
Improve fixed asset processes and controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
4 5+ years of accounting experience (must include fixed asset accounting).
Strong SAP ERP experience (asset modules).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification.
Background in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
