Where You Will Work

Chino is an open-pit copper mining complex located 15 miles from the historic mining community of Silver City in southwestern New Mexico. The historic Chino mine was among the world\'s first low-grade, open-pit copper mines. Today, the operation consists of a 36,000-metric-ton-per-day concentrator that produces copper and a 150-million-pound-per-year solvent extraction / electrowinning plant that produces copper cathode from solution generated by run-of-mine leaching.

Description

With limited supervision, monitors equipment at the site using real-time technology and collects and analyzes data with the goal of achieving higher equipment availability, lowering maintenance costs and assisting in operator education. Act as a liaison and common point of contact for the Remote Asset Monitoring Process (RAMP). Focused on business results and development of advanced diagnostic tools. Provide support as needed for the Mine and Fixed Plant RAMP Teams.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate with Maintenance and Planning groups to drive impact, performance and sustainability of RAMP across sites with clear measurements of value and performance.
• Administer the collection and analysis of real-time data using various predictive technologies, develop advanced diagnostic tools, make recommendations to Maintenance and Operations divisions, complete and submit work orders as necessary and audit / approve critical interventions, maintenance opportunities and operator coaching events.
• Assist in the development and testing of new remote asset monitoring technology in collaboration with maintenance, operations and support teams.
• Collaborate with the RAMP Enterprise Product Management team to build capabilities that support continued development and sustainment of the RAMP digital solution.
• Conduct RCFA's and investigations with maintenance, operations, and other organizations.
• Develop and assist with on-site training for operations and maintenance employees.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $35.80 - $51.40 / hour . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
