Position Summary :

Field Service Technicians performs installation, maintains, and repairs gas, wood, and pellet fireplaces, stoves, and inserts in residential and new construction settings. This role requires technical expertise, customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Functions :

  • Work as a team to perform installation of fireplace systems per manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair operational issues, including electrical circuits and components.
  • Reassembling and test equipment post-repair.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety standards.
  • Uphold Fallons core values of quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

    • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or related trades (HVAC or electrical experience a plus).
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work on roofs, and lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Comfort using power tools and working under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills with 2+ years of experience. (interacting with homeowners and explaining technical details)
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Preferred : NFI or CSIA certification (or willingness to pursue).

    • Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Physically demanding role requiring lifting, carrying, climbing, and kneeling.
  • Work may occur indoors, outdoors, or on rooftops, often in varying weather conditions.
