Job Description
Our client, a leader in advanced materials for thermal management applications, is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team. This role bridges product development and customer support, focusing on the integration, testing, and performance optimization of material solutions across a variety of end-use applications.
As an Applications Engineer, you will collaborate with customers and internal R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure materials meet performance and application requirements. You will translate customer needs into material and process solutions—not software systems—by conducting technical evaluations, trials, and troubleshooting to optimize product performance in real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, providing application expertise for material selection and integration.
- Develop and refine formulations, processes, and application methods to ensure materials meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals.
- Conduct lab and field testing to evaluate performance in customer-specific applications.
- Analyze test results and recommend modifications to enhance product performance or application techniques.
- Support product launches by providing technical guidance, data, and training to customers and sales teams.
Background Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.5–10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical or applications role within advanced materials, polymers, coatings, adhesives, or composites.Hands-on experience with thermal management materials, heat dissipation, or related applications.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.Our Client Offers :
