• Charge Experience
• Patient Ratio Experience
• Previous Experience with Charting Systems
• Trauma Level I or II Experience

Description :

Cath Lab Tech shift is from 6 : 30 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.

Additional on-call duties include 8 weeknights and four 24-hour weekends in a six-week schedule.

Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, and CCI RCIS certifications.

Scrubs will be provided for the position.

The daily census in the unit is approximately 10-15 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Travelers must be comfortable floating within the hospital as needed.

All candidates should provide two satisfactory professional references from recent employers.

Reference checks will include one supervisor / manager and one charge RN.

Local candidates within 50 miles from the facility will not be considered.

Overall responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Maintaining a sterile field in the Cath Lab is essential.

Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias is required.

Candidates must have experience with equipment setup, IABP placement / removal, and cardiac catheterization procedures.

Travelers should complete labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.

Return travelers must have been away from the system for at least six months.

Compliance documents must be submitted prior to starting the position.
