Job descriptionPerform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking Primary focus on CT scanning with X-ray experience also required Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures May assume supervision or instruction responsibilities for department personnel as determined by management Practice infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications Complete annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation Maintain department competencies as required Must be willing to consider other duties during low census within scope of practice Weekend and holiday coverage required if needed On-call responsibilities to be determined 2 years current CT / X-Ray experience required Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months or more) Current agency experience required (at least 6 months to 1 year or more) Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred Must have own vehicle for transportation Required certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA) Massachusetts state license required Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and Tiger Text format required Schedule accommodations will not be considered Must not reside within 50 miles of facility Referral bonus
