We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead and manage construction project cost estimations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and comprehensive bids, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies. - Duties
- Develop detailed construction estimates using Bluebeam and Trimble Buisness center.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and cost implications.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
- Prepare bid proposals that reflect accurate cost control measures while maintaining competitiveness.
- Assist in the review and management of contracts, change orders, and project budgets.
- Provide guidance on construction estimating best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support project management teams in tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure profitability.
- Identify potential risks related to costs and develop mitigation strategies.
- Execute change orders through out projects.
- Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong background in construction management or related fields.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble Buisness center, and other estimation or project management software tools.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, pricing strategies, and contract management within the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, cost control techniques, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, scope development, and change order processes.
- Prior experience working on large-scale projects with a focus on accuracy in cost estimation and risk assessment is highly desirable.
