Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in middle school education within a supportive classroom environment. This contract position serves students in a Self-Contained (SSN) classroom setting and is based onsite in Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs in a special education setting
• Collaborate with a team of three support paraprofessionals to implement educational plans effectively
• Manage classroom activities focused on fostering student engagement and academic progress
• Provide physical support including lifting students and assisting with personal care as required
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations and guidelines
