Field Service Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical equipment and systems at client sites. You will serve as the face of the company during on-site visits, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and timely service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support for gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and pressure controllers used in semiconductor manufacturing. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures or malfunctions.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and operators.
  • Document service calls, including detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to customer locations, sometimes at short notice.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Associate Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a equipment service technician or engineer.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical role related to gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and / or pressure controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and / or software systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
