In this role, you will lead the automation and quality engineering efforts across major product areas, ensuring high reliability, maintainability, and performance of complex software systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and quality teams to define test strategies, implement automation frameworks, and drive cross-functional quality improvements. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior SDETs, influence engineering best practices, and play a critical role in shaping software delivery excellence. You will be responsible for designing robust API, UI, and integration tests, integrating testing into CI / CD pipelines, and proactively identifying systemic quality gaps. The role emphasizes both technical expertise and strategic thinking to ensure high-quality software releases at scale.

Accountabilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for complex systems.
• Design and execute automated test suites for API, UI, and integration testing.
• Lead test strategy, perform risk analysis, and ensure reliable release quality.
• Integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Identify systemic quality issues and drive process improvements across teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior SDETs and QA team members.
• Review code and test cases for quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
• Investigate and resolve complex defects and production issues through advanced debugging and root cause analysis.
