Your Impact as a Nursing Assistant :
The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care to residents in our long-term care facility. Your responsibilities will include :
- Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN).
- Participating in a multidisciplinary nursing team, ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control policies.
- Assisting residents with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
- Supporting residents during meals and creating a positive dining experience.
- Documenting resident care, communicating any changes in condition to nursing staff, and collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens.
- Upholding cleanliness and comfort in residents' living spaces through housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Encouraging resident engagement in wellness and recreational activities.
- Contributing to committees and task forces to improve our services.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum age of 16. Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.Must have Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or obtain it within four months of starting by enrolling in a training program.Complete annual competency testing and maintain continuing education credits (12 hours required annually).Compliance with UAP Registry if applicable.Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet medical qualifications for driving if applicable.What We Offer :
