ALead Community Support Specialist will support coordinating client services, along with providing both direct client services and leadership to team members.

As aLead Community Support Specialist, you will be :

Supporting the growth and development of our client services

A liaison between clients, families and referral sources

Providing guidance to team members through day-to-day support, 30-day objectives and training

Working with clients in the community to develop goals and objectives, including life and independence skills

Ensuring quality service outcomes for our clients

Communicating and collaborating with referral sources

The job might be for you if you have experience working with youth and adults with disabilities and :

You are a great networker who enjoys building new relationships in the community

You are highly organized and enjoy taking on new tasks

You have experience supporting team members and providing feedback

You thrive being part of a collaborative team

You are flexible and adaptable to change

Not required, but great if you have your DSP certification

Career growth opportunities – potential selection into our Management Training Program for people who have the following experience :

Management of a small team

Informal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations

Additional requirements include :

Valid driver’s license and comfortable with travel within the community

Monday – Friday, daytime hours availability

Comfortable using technology for documentation and organization
