Position Overview – Field Technician I

Wave Civil is seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Technician I to join our team and support a variety of engineering, environmental, and construction-related projects.

As a Field Technician I at Wave Civil, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of existing water, sewer and stormwater utilities, to assist clients in determining the condition of their assets and make long term decisions. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and field staff, gaining valuable exposure to real-world conditions and help solve problems directly in the field. Frequent travel to field locations is required, and this position offers excellent opportunities for technical training, career growth, and advancement within a dynamic and growing company.

Qualities / Skills

Applicants Would Need To Have The Following Qualities / skills

• Regular attendance and punctuality

• Ability to perform field work utilizing in-house Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Ability to maintain and calibrate instrumentation

• Communicating effectively with contractors and project managers
