Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Washington!

About The Position

Setting :   Hospital Outpatient Department (Clinic); Inpatient responsibilities

Duties :   Standard for specialty

FTE :   1.0

Required Procedures :   None.  Bone marrow aspirations optional.

EMR :   Epic

Support Staff :   Standard

Reason for Coverage :   Bridge to permanent hire

Admissions per day, Patients / day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc :   Standard.

How many patients x day?  16-20

What is allotted time per patient in the outpatient clinic for the following appointments :

  • New patient visits?  1 hr
  • Oncology follow-ups?  20 minutes
  • Hematology follow-ups?  20 minutes

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified or BE Required in Hematology / Oncology - REQUIRED
  • WA State License - REQUIRED
  • Residency / Fellowship - REQUIRED
  • BLS - REQUIRED
  • Malpractice –  Clean Background Preferred
