About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour Day / Night Rotate

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience

License : Active RN license in Minnesota

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Active ACLS certification required.

Active BLS certification required.

Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience.

Willingness to float to other units such as Telemetry and Emergency Room.

Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems.

Description :

Unit requires nurses to respond to code blue calls.

Nurses will manage arterial lines, ventilators, BiPAP, and cardiac monitoring.

The unit consists of 10 beds.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 2 / 3 in ICU, and 1 : 3 / 5 in Telemetry and Emergency Room.

All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

Scrub color is navy blue.

Nurses must have not worked in the facility for at least 6 months prior to submission.

The orientation program consists of 12 to 24 hours, adjusted as needed.
