As a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist , you'll be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. Position requires you to be onsite 2-3 days a week in one of the following locations : Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ . This is not a telecommuting or remote position. No relocation will be provided. This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) as well as obtaining and maintaining associated business and / or customer funding prior to start date.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Responsible for working with Program Management, Manufacturing and Engineering to load requirements into MRP to meet manufacturing and testing schedules per the Integrated Master Schedule
• Ensuring consistent Material Finance reporting on program material and responsible for working with other planners, engineers, and program representatives to forecast material costs.
• Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
• Participates in make / buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in / phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management
• Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
• Creates / reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments and anticipated attrition levels
