\nPosition Overview : (Major Functions and Non-Essential Functions) :

\nProvides service to adolescents and adults. Produces high quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

\nIR tech 5+ years of experience as well as Neuro Interventional Radiology experience in strokes, OR : AAA experience, and body IR experience. Scrub and circulating experience. Call one to two nights a week and one weekend a month Shift would be 4 days 10-hour days 730a-6pm. Call shift starts at 7pm-7am on week nights. Call on weekends runs Friday 7pm-Monday 7am.
