Responsibilities

Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst who will be responsible for the following

  • Prepare / Review internal and external financial reports (Management Book / Risks & Opportunities) ensuring accuracy and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Prepare / review R&O materials for monthly meetings.
  • System implementation testing and support.
  • GL Work Group Representative for HAL / SBN.
  • Lead Financial Reporting quarterly training.
  • Facilitates and monitors FSG reports, Chart of Account and GL combination requests.
  • Assist with managing the month-end close and GL Consolidation process ensuring all key deliverables are provided.
  • Prepare / Review various Census, CLIA and Source Market Reports.
  • Prepare / Review US GAAP and IFRS quarterly variance analytics and SEC reporting packages in accordance with Corporate / PWC timelines and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Financial Accounting and reporting experience.
  • Management / Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting and reporting tools (Oracle – experience creating FSGs and OBIEE reports preferred) and Power BI a plus.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills written and oral (strong presentation / public speaking skills preferred)
  • Strong excel skills including advanced functions knowledge.
  • Analytical with meticulous attention to detail and ability to verify accuracy of financial information.
  • Flexibility with regard to peak work times, particularly month end close and quarterly reporting.
