Job descriptionHSD / GED Vaccinated for the flu (no exemptions) Medical Assistant Certificate / Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI. Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting Willingness to work with Pediatric patients Expertise with blood / lab draws and venipuncture Experience with CS-Link / Epic Interested in temp to perm 2+ years working as an MA in Internal Med / Family Practice 6 months of Pediatrics experience Experience with Quest Diagnostic laboratory submissions Phlebotomy certification Understanding of medical terminology Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
Job Description
- LOCALS ONLY - Must be within 50-minute commute
- Will draw 1-5 vials of blood from every patient in a high-volume clinic (100+ patients per day / 15 providers)
- Requires recent experience / expertise with venipuncture
