Position : Dermatologist

Location : Suwanee, GA 30024

Shift : Monday-Friday

Position Overview :

Scope of Practice & Patient Care

  • Provide comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology .
  • Serve an established primary care patient base initially; opportunity to grow external referrals.
  • Patient population : primarily middle-aged adults , accepts most commercial insurance & Medicare .
  • Services include :

General dermatology

  • Skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions
  • Cryotherapy
  • Optional expansion into cosmetic procedures
  • Credentialing and payer processes managed by Emory Healthcare Network .

    • Practice Development Opportunity

  • Opportunity to build a dermatology service line within an established practice.
  • Autonomy in treatment protocols, services, and growth strategies .
  • Steady internal referrals for immediate patient volume .
  • Marketing support to establish dermatology as a regional destination .

    • Work Schedule & Life Balance

  • Options :

    • 4 clinical days + 1 admin day

  • 4.5 days + half admin day
  • Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM , no weekends, on-call, or hospital rounds.
  • Flexible scheduling possible based on individual needs.

    • Work Environment & Support

  • Well-appointed office with dedicated dermatology space .
  • Support staff : RNs handle triage, prior authorizations, care coordination .
  • Marketing support for panel growth .
  • Collaboration with primary care providers for holistic care.

    • Technology & Equipment

  • EMR : eClinicalWorks with integrated e-prescribing and patient portal.
  • Documentation : Dragon Medical One and Sunoh AI medical scribe .
  • Investment in dermatology-specific equipment (dermatoscopes, surgical tools, cosmetic devices) as practice grows.

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Dermatology .
  • Georgia medical license (or eligibility), DEA registration.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
