Job Summary :
The Area Group Sales Manager will be responsible for generating group business across all three hotel properties. This remote role requires a proactive, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in direct outside sales, preferably within the independent hotel segment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing multiple hotel portfolios and cultivating relationships with clients in various industries.

- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve weekly activity metrics and quarterly revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new group business opportunities across corporate, association, SMERF, and luxury segments.
- Represent all three hotels effectively, tailoring sales pitches to match each property's unique value proposition.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, travel agents, corporate clients, and event organizers.Conduct in-person sales calls, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows to generate leads.Lead site visits on property to convert business.Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with on-property Directors of Sales and revenue management teams to align group pricing and availability.Provide weekly sales activity reports and monthly pipeline updates to leadership.Utilize CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and client communications.Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of outside direct hotel group sales experience, preferably with multiple independent properties.Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing a diverse client portfolio.Strong understanding of group sales dynamics, contract negotiation, and event planning.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected with internal teams. Candidate must live within 100 miles of Auburn, ALWillingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.Preferred Experience
