Position 2

Title : Android Developer

Industry : Retail

Location : Santa Cruz, CA ( Hybrid Schedule 3 days on 2 days remote)

LOA : 4+ Month with extensions ( Possible C2H after 6 months)

Max Rate : $75 / hr

Visa Types : OPEN

Interview Process : 2 rounds - 1st video - 2nd will require to be onsite so local candidates preferred.

Most important Required skills :

Job Description :

  • Professionalize, optimize, and document code which is "hacked together" that it is robust, scalable, and documented; as an SDK and is transferrable
  • Work with the team and ramp-up quickly on existing code with in-person interaction
  • Getting "hands dirty" in the lab (helping with experiments / validation).
  • This not just a coding or dev role.

Required :

  • Android Apps Dev - 5+ years experience
  • Java , Kotlin, and the Android SDK - Strong knowledge
  • Android Camera2 API knowledge
  • Android build and Release Management tools, such as Gradle, and Android Studio Build
  • Testing and Integration Testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Build and Release Management background :
  • Managing build artifacts
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting build and release issues
  • Strong Documentation :
  • Writing and maintaining clear and concise documentation
  • Documentation tools, such as Markdown, or Sphinx
  • Writing documentation for technical audiences

    • Plus Skills :

  • Cloud computing platforms, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • 3D, AR / VR, Photogrammetry
