About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in an ultrasound field required

License : Preferred license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

Certifications : BLS Required

ARDMS certification or CCI RCS Required

Must-Have :

Registered Ultrasound tech preferred

EPIC experience preferred

Candidates must include RTO in submittal to be honored at the time of offer

Description :

The candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and transesophageal echocardiograms.

They will provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic care.

This includes achieving the highest standards of care specific to the age of the patient.

The patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics.

The expected daily census consists of 8 studies.

The position requires floating to like acuities or less if needed.

Candidates will wear appropriate scrub tops and bottoms.

Scrub color cannot include light blue or royal blue.

The work schedule primarily consists of Tuesday to Friday.

Candidates may need to work one weekend shift a month if required.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and other essential services.

The position involves working with patients who require echocardiograms and related studies.

Special equipment and procedures may be required for specific diagnostic roles.
