Fumigation Technician - Pest Control Tech - East St. Louis

Applicants with knowledge of fumigants including phosphine and sulfuryl fluoride and experience with other Restricted Use Pesticides will receive an interview. However, this position does not require a Fumigation License as our outstanding training program will help a candidate earn the Fumigation Licenses required for the position.

• This position will pay up to $27 per hour, with profit sharing opportunities, overtime, and double time pay on holidays.

• JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A FUMIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

This Full-Time position will lead all Fumigation efforts in the St. Louis area, performing necessary pest control assignments from start to finish with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Fumigation and related Pest Control work will be performed at both the East St. Louis location and off-site. You will have access to a company vehicle.

New employees are required to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screening. FSS, Inc. uses current Federal guidelines and not IL or MO state laws when reviewing Pre-Employment Drug Screening results and for Random Drug Screening of active employees.

• RESPONSIBILITIES OF FUMIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN
• Following all safety requirements at all times.
• Working well with others by building relationships with our other Fumigation Technicians and Fumigation teams.
• Obtaining and maintaining licensing required for Technicians in all requested states and industry groups.
• Assisting in other areas of related business as requested.
• SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• A history of working safely while performing a variety of tasks.
• The ability to work in confined spaces at at heights including while using fall protection and PPE.
• Strong communication skills are a must. We are cultivating a team environment and looking for great people.
• Attention to detail and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs and functions.
