Laborer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our mechanical contracting team. This role supports skilled tradespeople in the field or fabrication shop by performing general labor tasks including material handling, equipment setup, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to grow in the mechanical trades.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist pipefitters, welders, and other trades with daily tasks.
• Load and unload materials and tools at job sites or within the fabrication shop.
• Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., grinders, drills, saws).
• Prepare and stage materials for fabrication or field installation.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy materials and components.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Support inventory control and material organization.
• Perform general shop duties, including cutting, grinding, or prepping pipe or sheet metal (if applicable).
• Attend safety meetings and job briefings as required.
