Job descriptionWork on a 36-bed fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry unit Patient population ranges from adolescents to older adults with medical, surgical, stroke / TIA, orthopedic, and neuro cases Night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Epic EMR experience is required May be required to float to other units as needed Work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment All former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible for a travel assignment Local candidates are accepted at the same base rate Requested time off should be limited to no more than 7 days total and submitted with the initial application No additional RTO requests will be approved after an offer is made Active VA RN license or compact RN license in hand Minimum of 2 years RN experience with recent Med / Surg Tele experience Telemetry training and experience caring for Ortho, Neuro, and surgical patients Experience with Epic EMR is required NIH Stroke Scale certification and recent stroke education are required Must provide one supervisory reference for consideration Two professional references required for compliance Must have specialty experience within the last year High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
