Construction Laborer / Cleaning Technician

Join a dynamic team engaged in constructing a large project in Lenoir, NC, with a project duration of over two years. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can stand and direct pedestrian traffic on-site and assist with various construction tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Stand and direct pedestrian traffic, holding a stop / slow sign to ensure safe walkway crossings.
• Perform physical labor including jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, and logistics management.
• Construct temporary structures, fencing, decks, and platforms.
• Participate in construction waste management and site protection systems.
• Inventory supplies and manage re-stocking needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations by tradespeople, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Understand and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and adhere to safety expectations, wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Perform demolition, scaffold construction, and fire watch duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dumpster areas and manage vendor schedules.
• Act as a spotter for heavy equipment operators.
• Communicate and escalate issues for resolution, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Assist other craft workers and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
