As a member of CIBC's team, you will be responsible for supporting the US Region BCM program in the delivery of effective BCM planning, risk monitoring and mitigation. The BCM RM Specialist will work directly with business units to guide development of actionable and sustainable recovery strategies that ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and corporate guidelines. A key aspect of this role is understanding organizational priorities and the potential impact of failures in internal and external dependencies, including IT infrastructure and supplier relationships, on service delivery. This role is Hybrid and requires 2-3 days on-site per week.

Who you are
You're a certified BCM professional. You have 7+ years of business continuity management experience, including understanding of risk management principles. You have understanding of compliance requirements related to business interruption risks. You have the ability to clearly articulate risks and recommendations to stakeholders. You demonstrate experience in internal / external regulatory risk policies, procedures and controls. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You inspire outcomes by making yourself heard. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making. You bring your real self to work and you live our values trust, teamwork and accountability.
At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
