Transportation Design Engineer

Full Time Direct Hire

Houston, TX

Required :

  • 3-10+ years of experience in transportation design
  • Experience preparing, reading, and understanding construction plans and technical documents
  • Design software such as MicroStation and / or OpenRoads Designer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or similar degree)
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic that will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Desired :

  • TxDOT and / or Municipal clients
  • Texas PE license (or the ability to obtain one within six months) is preferred, but not required

    • Responsibilities :

    You will be designing and coordinating transformative roadway, drainage, and utility projects for both public and private clients.

  • Lead the design and coordination of complex transportation projects, working with a dynamic, collaborative team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the company to ensure seamless project delivery and unparalleled service for our clients.
  • Engage in a variety of exciting tasks, including 3D modeling, roadway design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and preparing detailed project plans.
  • Play an active role in proposals, project budgets, scheduling, and presentations, contributing to the growth and success of each project.
  • Mentor and oversee the work of EITs or Technicians, helping to develop the next generation of transportation design professionals.
