Snowflake Database Administrator

What You'll Do

Comfort working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Provision, resize, suspend / un-pause, and decommission virtual warehouses.

Design and maintain RBAC roles / privileges, enforce least-privilege principles.

Implement Resource Monitors per finance-budget targets, alert on credit thresholds.

Manage Snowpipe pipelines, automate failure alerts, and troubleshoot near-real-time loads.

Advise on micro-partitioning / clustering strategies for large tables (e.g., Policy, Claims).

Configure Time Travel and Fail-Safe retention policies; restore dropped / truncated objects as needed.

Develop Python or Terraform scripts to automate provisioning, DDL deployments, and key rotations

Hands-on with popular ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, DBT).

Deep understanding of ANSI SQL and Snowflake-specific extensions.

Partner with Power BI teams to optimize data models for report performance.
