Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSO), TS / SCI

Overview

We're seeking a mission-driven Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) supporting high-impact national security programs. This role demands a proactive security professional with deep knowledge of risk management, compliance, and secure system design. You'll be the linchpin between technical teams and security governance, ensuring systems remain resilient, compliant, and mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for classified systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and IC cybersecurity policies
• Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and other RMF documentation
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security control implementation
• Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met
• Support system accreditation and continuous monitoring activities
• Respond to security incidents and support investigations and remediation
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and compliance frameworks

Salary range for the position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge. We also offer medical / dental / vision benefits and 401k contribution.
