ER RN Job Details – Rochester, NY Location : Rochester, NY 14626 (New York healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nursing contract) Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 23, 2026 Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000-$2060 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5, mixed / shared acuity levels Charting System : Epic (Epic charting experience required) Scrub Colors : Navy and white combinations Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Epic charting experience required Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed Ability to work every other weekend Travel nurses must live at least 75 miles from facility ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction / failure Administer blood products, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation / paralytics Perform phlebotomy, start and maintain IVs, and manage central lines Conduct procedural sedation administration and monitoring Apply isolation precautions and manage patients with a wide range of diagnoses Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services Float to other hospital units as required by census Take the next step in your ER nursing career with this travel assignment in Rochester, NY.
