The Recruiting Manager is responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, scheduling and retaining Neumont adjunct faculty along with other academic and faculty support. They also are responsible for ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, including Neumont accreditation standards. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, organized professional with strong communication and technical skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment, maintains discretion, and demonstrates a deep commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO :
Adjunct Staffing & Recruiting
- Recruiting and staffing logistics to include quarterly timely adjunct recruiting, onboarding and scheduling each quarter. Includes managing quarterly adjunct offer letters, contracts, verification of credentials and transcripts.
- Reviews transcripts and work history of adjunct faculty members to ensure proper teaching credentials are held.
- Responsible for the recruiting and placement of adjuncts based on the teaching needs determined by the Scheduling Committee. Works to build adjunct bench for future quarters. Serves as the primary contact for adjuncts.
- Works with scheduling team, Chairs and / or course supervisors to establish and maintain positive relationships with adjunct instructors to aid in adjunct retention for future needs.
- Schedules and participates in adjunct faculty candidate teaching demonstrations.
- Prepares new adjuncts for teaching duties by providing course content, textbooks, laptop, login credentials and leading quarterly adjunct orientation.
- Plans and facilitates quarterly adjunct orientation permitting adjuncts, connecting them with system and internal resources so they are adequately ready to begin teaching day one of the quarter.
- Works to create and facilitate retention strategies for adjuncts.
- Serves as the main point of contact for adjunct related issues.
Academic Administrative Support
Supports the Academic Leadership TeamCollects and track faculty development to meet accreditation standards.Ensures proper onboarding of new faculty through Canvas “Instructor Orientation Course”.Ensures adjunct academic process and procedures to ensure institutional compliance.Coordinate and follow up with full-time faculty regarding the completion of adjunct faculty observations.Coordinates with faculty, to increase the amount of student evaluations conducted for each faculty and adjunct, per quarter.Procures and presents quarterly reports on academic metrics.Participates in academic leadership and faculty meetings, taking minutes and recording attendance.Identifies opportunities for efficiencies and improved effectiveness across academic functions.Touch-base and coordinates adjunct development opportunities with Director of Curriculum & Instruction.Works on other special projects as directed by the Vice President of Academic Operations.Coordinates and assists with PAC related duties to include :Helps recruit and orient new PAC members.Scheduling meetings, maintains PAC bios and creates PAC orientation packets for each meeting.Helps create agenda, attends each meeting and takes minutes as well as a collects minutes from program chairs and ensure minutes are properly formatted.Processes travel reimbursements and coordinates logistics of onsite PAC meeting.Compliance Coordination
Assist with establishing institutional procedures and documentation for adherence to accreditation standards.Review transcripts and work history of faculty members to ensure proper teaching credentials are held.Write justifications for full-time faculty who do not meet the education requirements.Prepare documents for accreditation applications.Monitors and maintains a NCCS institutional compliance task calendar.Verifies that all institutional compliance tasks are being completed on time, in accordance with the compliance calendar, and at a high standard across all departments. This is accomplished through direct task notification and interaction with responsible department directors.Manages the publication of the annual Course Catalog Coordinates between all university departments to ensure proper evaluation are conducted regarding the Course Catalog and that published policies are clear, concise and transparent.All other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of five years of experience in an office support or administrative role.Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, negotiating, and hiring.Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet critical deadlines.Strong professional writing skills, including correct grammar, punctuation, and tone.Must be self-driven and able to complete tasks effectively despite frequent interruptions.Ability to provide constructive feedback to instructors on improving teaching effectiveness.Proven ability to collaborate across teams and lead the work of others when required.Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.In-depth knowledge of NWCCU accreditation standards and / or strong understanding of pedagogy and effective teaching strategies is a plus.SCHEDULE
