The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Sr. Director, IT Security Enablement to work in Miami.The Senior Director of IT Security Enablement plays a pivotal role in advancing the university’s mission by fostering a secure and resilient digital environment that empowers academic excellence, research innovation, and operational integrity. This leader oversees all facets of security operations and enablement services, driving strategic cybersecurity initiatives and cultivating a culture of awareness and accountability across the institution. Working in close partnership with stakeholders from diverse departments, the Senior Director ensures that cybersecurity practices are seamlessly embedded into the university’s core functions. By enabling teams to operate with confidence and security, the incumbent directly supports the university’s commitment to excellence, collaboration, and public service.Core Responsibilities :
- Assumes responsibility for campus-wide initiatives involving cybersecurity initiatives to enhance the security posture of the University.

- CORE QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Resource Management : Ability to allocate resources and drive innovation and growth.Adaptability : Proven ability to adjust to changes and leads / inspires transformational change.Team Leadership : Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage complex projects, and ensure successful project delivery.
