Job description

Are you a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist seeking a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Wayland, Kentucky? We have an immediate need for coverage at a reputable facility.

Assignment Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing (Monthly)
  • Coverage Type : Call Only
  • EMR System : MediTech
  • Practice Setting : Inpatient
  • Average Deliveries Per Year : 160

This position offers an ongoing monthly schedule, providing call coverage from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM the following day. The facility has a dedicated team of support staff, including registered nurses and medical assistants, ensuring excellent patient care.

Specialty Skills Required :

  • Low risk and high risk pregnancy management
  • FHR interpretation (NST / CST / FSE)
  • OB Ultrasounds (interpretation and performance)
  • Level I / Screening (viability)
  • Level II / Targeted (anatomic)
  • Routine and complicated deliveries
  • C-sections, including decision-making
  • VBACs, breech deliveries, multiple births
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office / minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
  • Surgical gynecology procedures
