Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatrics position requiring a MO or Compact RN license and floating responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Pediatrics unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule, 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Responsible for pediatric patient care
  • Required to float to different units as a Patient Observer (Sitter) as needed
  • Cerner EMR is used; prior experience is preferred but not required
  • Must work 50% of holidays during the contract
  • Mandatory floating to all units as needed, including sitter responsibilities
  • Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate
  • No re-orientation required if returning within 18 months; 9-month gap required between assignments to return as a traveler
  • All requested time off must be declared up front for approval
  • First-time travelers will be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active MO or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years overall RN experience, with at least 1 year in Pediatrics
  • Current BLS certification
  • Submission of two professional references required
