We are seeking a highly experienced Interim Head of Americas Payroll & HR Operations to join our HR leadership team. This role sits within the Colleague Experience team, overseeing payroll and colleague support operations across the Americas region. The position requires a senior leader with the ability to manage complex payroll functions in an ADP EV6 environment while driving process efficiency, compliance, and colleague satisfaction.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven payroll and HR operations leader who is open to a contract-to-hire (RTH) arrangement, with the potential to convert to a permanent full-time position after approximately 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership for Americas Payroll and HR Operations , representing these functions at regional HR leadership forums.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to analyze service performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset , implementing automation and process efficiencies in partnership with HR Technology.
- Manage vendor governance, compliance, and risk frameworks across payroll operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing payroll and HR operations team, ensuring succession planning and career growth opportunities.
- Act as the primary liaison with global stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and external partners.
Qualifications
Extensive senior experience in payroll leadership , including oversight of large-scale, complex payroll operations and vendor management.Familiarity with ADP EV6 or equivalent enterprise payroll platforms.Strong background in HR service delivery, governance, and compliance.Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, both regionally and globally.Proven experience implementing process improvements, automation, and LEAN methodologies.Excellent people leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.Why Join?
